SKAMMATA is a documentary film about Cypriot archaeology, directed by Danae Stylianou and produced for the Department of Antiquities of the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Culture. The film explores how the events of the summer of 1974 changed the landscape of archaeology in Cyprus, bringing important excavations to a halt and reshaping efforts to preserve the island’s heritage. SKAMMATA offers a powerful reflection on the impact of war on people, places, and the preservation of history. Free.
